Tips

Start Simple

CardSense allows scanning multiple cards at once, but start by scanning one card to practice getting a clear scan before moving on to more.

Backgrounds and Lighting

Choose a clean, solid background for your cards. Make sure all corners are visible, and avoid blurriness. Ensure proper lighting, and minimize glare, especially around the edges of the card.

Spacing and Card Layout

Leave enough space between cards to avoid overlap, and make sure every card is visible in the camera frame. For the best results, use landscape mode and keep your phone as parallel as possible to the cards.

Phone Position and Technique

• Lay your cards on a flat surface, and hold your phone landscape-style for better scanning accuracy.
• Use zoom on your phone and wait for the image to focus for higher-quality scans.
